These days we often see IDF soldiers destroying the houses of Gaza and eliminating the murderers. The Halacha says: "He who sees the houses of the Gentiles in their settlements, says: The Lord will tear down the house of the proud", (Proverbs 15:25); upon their destruction he says: "God of vengeance, Lord" (Psalms 94, 1) ] Shulchan Aruch Or HaChaim 224, 11].
Surely anyone who sees planes or tanks actually destroying the houses, even if he only sees a picture or video, should say these words with God's full name, loudly and enthusiastically and with thanksgiving to the Lord.
And whoever wants to expand on this mitzvah should say with full intent the full two verses: "God of vengeance, Lord, God of avenging, appear! Rise up, Judge of the earth, pay retribution on the arrogant!" (Psalms 94, 1,2) For in these two verses there is also a prayer for the continuation of the destruction of world-wide evil. It is also good to say the full verse when one sees their houses still not destroyed: "The Lord will tear down the house of the proud, and He will establish the homestead of the widow." (Proverbs 15:25)
Whoever wants to fulfill the mitzvah to its fullest will say all of the verses which are said in prayer about revenge on the gentiles:
"God of vengeance, Lord, God of avenging, appear! Rise up, Judge of the earth, pay retribution on the arrogant!" (Psalms 94, 1,2)
"Deliverance is the Lord’s; Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah." (Psalms 3, 9)
"The Lord of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our haven. Selah." (Psalms 46, 8)
"O Lord of Hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You." (Psalms 84, 13)
"O Lord, grant salvation! May the King answer us on the day we call." (Psalms 20,10)
"Save Your people, and bless Your inheritance; and tend them, and raise them forever." (Psalms 28,9)
"Our soul has waited for the Lord; He is our help and our shield." (Psalms 33,20)
"For in Him does our heart rejoice, because we have trusted in His Holy Name." (Psalms 33,21)
"May we enjoy, O Lord, Your faithful care, as we have put our hope in You . "(Psalms 33,22)
"Show us Your mercy, O Lord, and grant us Your salvation." (Psalms 85,8)
"Arise and help us, and redeem us for the sake of Your mercy." (Psalms 44,27)
"I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it." (Psalms 81,11)
"Blessed is the people that have it so. Blessed is the people whose God is the Lord."(Psalms 144,15)
"But as for me, I trust in Your grace; my heart will exult in Your deliverance. I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me." (Psalms 13,6)
And it is written in the writings of the Holy Ar"i that these verses have a great ability to raise all of the worlds to a loftier place, in the merit of revenge for the Ten Holy Martyrs . "And indeed, the sparks that fell in the world of deeds are not similar to those that fell in the worlds of creation and formation, for in the world of deeds the husks are immense and strong and large, and there is no power to remove the sparks from there except by the power of the Ten Royal Martyrs." And by saying these verses, we append our prayers for the martyrs of our generation to the merit of the Ten Holy Martyrs and raise the world to a purer, cleaner and more just place. Amen.
